Dr. Howard A. Friedman, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, U.S. Army veteran, and former VA medical leader with over 30 years of experience in veteran healthcare and disability evaluations. As the founder of HHOM LLC, Dr. Friedman provides expert medical reviews, Nexus Letters, Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), Independent Medical Opinions, and documentation for legal and insurance professionals.

A veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Dr. Friedman served as a Staff Physician and Cardiology Chief in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, later leading veteran care initiatives as a Medical Manager at the VA. His in-depth knowledge of chronic illness, service-connected injuries, and VA disability criteria ensures each Nexus Report is medically sound, evidence-based, and aligned to support successful claims.

Dr. Friedman earned his MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and has been awarded multiple military commendations, including the Army Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
